Beverly serves as Executive Vice President for Huffman Developments, where she has worked for nearly 20 years. Beverly has successfully managed dozens of commercial real estate projects totaling more than 500,000 square feet. Her primary emphasis is on medical real estate and managing construction projects for non-profit organizations. Known for "Best in Class" projects, under her leadership, many of the completed facilities have received local and national award recognition.
While at Huffman, Beverly also served as Board Member and Executive Director for Returning Heroes Home, Inc. a San Antonio based non-profit formed for the purpose of funding and constructing the Warrior and Family Support Center at Joint Base Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Beverly played a key role in raising the $10M required to complete the project. She was also the Project Manager and primary point of contact with the Army, overseeing design and construction of the 12,000 square foot donated facility and adjacent 6-acre park and therapeutic gardens. The building was the first of its kind, and serves as a hub for community support and social activities for Wounded Warriors and their Families while in medical rehabilitation.
Beverly earned a Fellowship in Healthcare Management from Samaritan Health System, a Masters in Health Services Administration from Arizona State, and a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University. Additionally, Beverly is a Certified Graduate Builder and Certified Green Professional, and has earned her Certificate in Non-Profit Management through the San Antonio Area Foundation and St. Mary's University.
Beverly is actively involved in serving the community as a Board Member for Returning Heroes Home, Chairman of the John L. Santikos Capital and Naming Rights Community Advisory Committee through the San Antonio Area Foundation, Member of the Executive Advancement Council for Hill Country Daily Bread Ministries, Member of Legatus San Antonio, Cub Scout Den Mother, and an active member of the Catholic ACTS Community. Beverly was recognized for her civic service and leadership by the San Antonio Business Journal when she was recognized with their Women's Leadership Award in 2014.
